Sour Grapes

There is a Political Stunt Brewing in Carroll County

Greasy Creek has received reports that Clint Reed and a host of overzealous lawyers are up in Carroll County contesting the vote tally of a couple of races that they Won...including District 91 that GOP Brayn King won handily over Merlin Leach.

I am guessing Clint Reed will be claiming widespread corruption led to the defeat of the Republican slate of candidates including all of the races targeted by Coalition for Arkansas's Future???

I guess this is part of the new "BENT BUT NOT BROKEN" STRATEGY UNVEILED BY CLINT REED IN HIS APOLOGY LETTER THAT HE SENT AROUND THIS MORNING?

Greasy Creek Will Have Updates As Soon As Possible!!!!

E Day

Orval and I totally forgot today was Election Day! Thanks for the 92387498237498237984732 reminder messages on Facebook and MySpace this morning. Every friend who thought we were retarded enough to require a reminder is now ON NOTICE.

It's pretty hilarious reading the embittered ArkFam these days. Over a year of blogging and all they get is this lousy impending Democratic sweep. But I digress...

As we wait for the polls to close, only one question remains: Peabody (Halter/Daniels/Shoffner/McDaniel party) or Embassy Suites (Beebe party).

Okay. Actually one more question...

Can somebody please explain which genius decided to have the Beebe party 8.4 miles away from the Democratic slate party? If Gilbert Baker and Clint Reed had any sense, they'd push for a sobriety checkpoint on I-630 and slam 3/4ths of the elected officials in Arkansas with DWIs.

UPDATE: A tipster has indicated there will be shuttling between the two venues.

Simply outrageous
Surprise, Surprise: Republicans are using kids for political gain!

This morning the Arkansas Times Blog reports Bentonville schools will bus in children to the Bush event.

Can anyone argue with the claim that the GOP loves to exploit children?

If you think using Arkansas taxdollars  to bolster W/Asa's image is wrong, call or email Gary Compton and tell him to stop using the Bentonville school district's resources for partisan events.

More Importantly...
Well it's official

ESPN Gameday will be in Fayetteville this Weekend

Governor Beebe, Attorney General Dustin McDaniel, and Senator Harold Ford Jr. will be in attendance?

Well I am not sure if it is possible for Greasy Creek to be any more excited about our beloved Razorbacks.   If Darren McFadden ran for Governor right now he would win in a landslide. Posting 219 yards on South Carolina and Monk putting up 192 in receiving...I am not usre if we have ever had a more potent pass/catch tandem.

God we love these kids at Greasy Creek, highlights provided by our friends @ Woopig.net

Now the speculation begins about where Corso, Fowler and Herbstreet will set up?

The debate begins, it's Lot 42 vs. Lot 43...

An incredibly high tech preview of what the gameday set up might look like

The Arkansas Traveler reports it will be in the grassy area between Lot 43 and 42 by the Dale Bumpers (another fine Democrat) poultry science building

Proof Positive

Home Schooling Has Direct Link to Attention Deficit Disorder!

Asa! Hutchinson's latest ad not only proves that he loves to exploit children for political gain but that homeschooling clearly leads to ADHD!

We here at Greasy Creek, believe the exposure of homeschooled children, especially life long home schoolers (aka Hutchinson's progeny), to other human beings sets off cataclysmic events of social anxiety and in turn results in attention seeking disruptive outbursts from the children.

Look for yourself...

Oh that Asa! his ad company is so clever but GC wants to ask:
How Can We Trust a Governor Who Champions Home Schools Over Public Schools?

I know the Asa! camp focus grouped this commercial and it made women have warm fuzzies but the truth is Asa! could care less about public primary education or a public college education. Home schooling scares the hell out of us here at Greasy Creek, it may sound alarmist but robbing kids of socializing with other kids is not healthy...especially if you ever want them to attend a normal college (ie not Bob Jones) or eventually wonder out into the real world

A Few Home school alumni who made recent headlines:
David Ludwig- you know, the kid in Pennsylvania who killed his parents and then made a getaway with his home school girlfriend
Adam Gadahn - homeschooled and convicted of treason for providing comfort to Al Qaeda
John Mark Karr - another fine homeschooled product

ASA! claims to defend good local schools (by local schools we must assume he means your local home school?); And Asa! says he will take care of the teachers, BUT this is coming from a guy who home schooled all of his children and used textbooks from Bob Jones University to teach his kids about Math and Science.

To better illustrate Asa!'s misguided priorities on education we will now conduct a short one act play.

Ladies and Gentleman,
Greasy Creek presents...A Day in the Life at Asa Hutchinson's Good Local Schools

Asa: "Okay kids, first question,Jesus says the square root of 81 is...?"

Asa Jr: "Daddy, he says its 9."

Asa: "Correct now do you know the 9th Commandment?"

Asa Jr: "Yes Dad, it says do not lie!"

Asa: Ha Ha, well son what God did not tell you is the old 9th only applies when it is not campaign season. ohh these kids..

Asa: Young Jeremy, do you know what Jesus decried as the square root of 49?

Jeremy Hutchinson: Yeah uncle Asa! it's 7 and I already know the 7th Commandment its says Thou shall not commit adultery...my daddy hates that one!

Asa! is Crazy!  Any Questions?

Time to Sandbag the Katrina President

Thanks Gilbert,

To the thousands of devoted fans who visit Greasy Creek everyday we ask you to stop by your local GOP headquarters and reserve as many tickets as possible so that we can welcome our President with open boos

Here is your official invite from Chairman Gilbert Baker:

Imagine it:
Loud protests, citizens asking the President unscripted questions, people loudly booing his inarticulate demagoguery...it will be great

Let's show this President that he is no longer welcome in our state.  Grab all your liberal friends and go reserve as many tickets as possible, they can't throw all of us out or put is in headlocks and tackle us to the ground like the Allen staffers...if they do it will make for great TV

Also bring your camcorders, here are the locations where you can pick your tickets

See everyone there on Monday!!!

Another Greasy Creek Exclusive!!!

Not That the Arkansas Times will give GC credit  for breaking the story but...

George W. Bush is Scheduled to be in Northwest Arkansas for Asa! on Sunday Monday (and Boozman)

A few questions we would like to ask our President...@ Tyson's Hangar

Also as much as you might like to blame John Kerry for everything wrong in Iraq because Kerry butchered a joke...make sure old W. does not read the paper (oh that's right the intellectually incurious bastard never reads)...thats always good - who needs a President that actually reads?

Senator Kerry is Still A Douchebag

Greasy Creek Firmly Believes George W. Bush is the Worst President in our Nation's History But... God Do We Hate John Kerry

Thank God, the Senator Finally Issued an Apology

An explanatory from Greasy Creek:

The Brothers Faubus supported General Wesley Clark for President in 2004 & we were highly upset when the Yankee d-bag, flip flopping, phony, opportunistic SOB John Kerry won the nomination.

We even refused to vote for him in the General election: Sam put his friend FDR as a write in and I wrote in my old buddy Sid McMath. There were no good options in 2004 for the country in the general election and as bad as George W. has been the one good thing from the 2004 election was John Kerry was gone from Democratic politics forever....right?

Until Monday when he popped up in California pretending he was running for President and pretending to have any comedic sensibilities. NEWSFLASH fuck face no matter how many speech writers you put in a room from Harvard. THEY WILL NEVER MAKE YOU FUNNY or Give you anything remotely approaching a human personality.

NOW GO AWAY FOREVER so the New Democrats like Billy Clinton, Harold Ford Jr, Jon Tester, Bob Casey, and Jim Webb can take over!!

Now that's over please vote for the entire Democratic Ticket in Arkansas; They have been officially endorsed by both Greasy Creek and the Arkansas Democrat Gazette.

You  have Greasy's Creeks word that they are NOTHING like Senator John Kerry.

Jack Black Has a Mean Headlock

Who Needs Free Speech When You Have Young Republicans?

Allen Staffers Tackle and Assault Man Who Wants To Ask Senator Allen a Question

Greasy Creek has officially adopted Jim Webb's campaign as our favorite race in the country.  Jim Webb is a highly decorated Vietnam Vet, former Republican turned New Democrat.

Allen is a Christian fundamentalist nut job whose only claim to fame is that he was the son of a famous football coach for the Washington Redskins....GO COWBOYS!!

center>

Anyway, Reggie Herring could take some notes from these over zealous Allen staffers (look at how well they wrap up...Desmond Sims you better be watching) as they tackle a man who had the moxie to ask Senator Allen a question, they then continue to assault the man on live TV...ala Bob Roberts staffer Jack Black

George Allen changed my life!

The Coup de Gras
Breaking News: I Miss Bill...  UPDATE!!!

Bill Clinton will be in Jonesboro on Friday morning @ Jonesboro Airport

Democratic Party to Follow Up Obama Visit with Bill Clinton to Rally the Base in Final Weeks!

It has been leaked to Greasy Creek that Bill Clinton will be back in Arkansas in the final days before the November 7th election.  It looks like rallies will be held with the former President in Eastern Arkansas: our guess is Pine Bluff, Jonesboro and maybe a stop in Blytheville.

Clinton will be campaigning heavily for Harold Ford Jr. in Tennessee and it will be a nice one two punch, hopping over the border to make sure Democrats in Arkansas take back the Governor's mansion and Congressman Ford takes back the Senate seat once held by Bill Frist.

BTW it was a long drive from Madison County to the Capitol but well worth it to see Obama on Saturday

Now if we can just convince Houston to let Mitch throw the damn ball down field, beat South Carolina, see our native son one more time and win Tuesday's election...then life will be perfect!  Gameday coming to Fayetteville for the Tennessee game and hopefully Governor Mike Beebe, AG Dustin McDaniel, and Senator Harold Ford Jr. will all be in attendance.

Woo Pig

Gilbert Baker's blatant collusion with CFAF
Clint, could you please buy Gilbert a Thesaurus?

Maxwick today mentioned the Coalition for Arkansas' Future use of Republican Governor Association money to fund a race by Catherin Blankenship. What they didn't mention was the blantant collusion that has existed between CFAF and Blankenship in this race. The smoking gun? Catherin Blankenship's literature is a VERBATIM MATCH with CFAF's literature!
Compare for yourself (click on images for larger versions)

(Campaign literature printed by
the Blankenship campaign)

(CFAF's mail piece)

Now compare the text of each piece

Blakenship

        CFAF

The piece on the top is simply a WORD-FOR-WORD abbreviated version of the piece on the bottom.

THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!

Why isn't the mainstream media covering Gilbert Baker's blatantly illegal coordination between a "non-partisan, independent" 527 group and a Republican candidate?!

Bush's Failure of Leadership

The Elephant in the Room:  October is Deadliest Month in Iraq for our Brave Soldiers

Newsweek: War in Iraq is Number One Issue on Voter's Minds

Republican Senate stalwart Lindsey Graham declares the plan "is not working" and that we're "on the verge of chaos."

Dick Cheney's prediction that we would be "welcomed with open arms" the single most dangerous mischaracterization in American history?
Former Speaker of the House Jim Wright, says It was flawed and inflexible political leadership that created this crisis of our generation.
Today, we learn that 23 Police Officers Killed in Iraq and that October has been the deadliest month in the 5 years that we have been in Iraq.  Bush continues to lie about his position now claiming he has never took a "stay the course" policy.

Barack Obama said a few words that got us thinking over at Greasy Creek...imagine if we took the money we are spending in Iraq and spent it here at home?  We know it is a simple thought but it is also a very powerful one.

The Cost of War: $338,000,000,000

Arkansas share of the bill is over $3 billion dollars.

For the price of creating chaos in Iraq, we could have hired over 5.8 million full time public teachers or sent 16.3 million students to college with full four year scholarships

How can Republicans still defend the record of the Bush administration?  Has the Fog of War really prevented America from seeing how incompetent this human being really is?

A strict diet gets this President through the rough days when the delusions of grandeur start to fade

Cherry & CFAF Lies Again

Coalition For Arkansas's Future Lies About Monty Davenport's Record Yet Again; Kathryn and Clint Reed Caught Dining Together at Nu and then "Ironically Partying" the Night Away at Discovery...The Finest Gay Club in Little Rock!

CFAF executive director Kathryn Cherry releases statement, "Me and Clint still hate Gay people but uh when you want drinks at 3 am on a Saturday everybody knows you go to Disco...duh!"

The wine taste sooo much better with a side of hate!!!  Here's to stopping stem cell research!!

Not that we think many residents in Yellville are surfing the internet to look for a good reason to vote for their state representative but we, here at Greasy Creek, think it is important to show how blatantly this Republican funded 527 lies about the elected officials it goes after.

The Title of an October 16th post on CFAF's blog claims Monty Davenport wants "Murders and Rapists back on the Streets"

The CFAF blog pulled this post off their website presumably at the request of former boss Clint Reed...will this accusation end up in the mailboxes of residents in District 86 instead??

Beyond demonstrating a flimsy grasp of the English language, Kathryn assailed Greasy Creek for calling out CFAF. While we always appreciate the shoutout, we also enjoy accuracy. To be sure, we love to "let murders" back on the street (sic); unfortunately, SB 387 does just the opposite.

A
perfect microcosm of Republican thought in general...it is clear that CFAF and the Republican Party had just enough intellectual energy to read the first  10 lines of Section 1 of Act 1034 a.k.a. Senate Bill 387.

The bill does state...

Unfortunately for CFAF and their pursuit of lies and character assassination there are two more pages to the bill, including this gem in sub-section (d):

Let's see...

"In No Event Shall the Awarding of Meritorious Good Time under §12-29-201 or § 12-29-202 be applicable to persons sentenced under subdivisions."  We will help you spell out the  subdivsions:

(a)(1)(A)  Murder
(a)(1)(  Kidnapping
(a)(1)(C)  Aggravated Robbery
(a)(1)(D)  Rape
(a)(1)(E)  Causing a catastrohpe  (looks like President Bush will have to serve at least 70% of his sentence)

Okay so Clint and Kathryn's coalition has balatantly lied to the people of Arkansas...I guess we can expect a written apology to everyone who lives in Rep. Davenport's district??

It is the least you could do after accussing such a fine, and we might add very conservative, elected official as Rep. Davenport of having a desire to let murderers and rapists go free!

Why doesn't the mainstream press hold this group accountable??  The RGA has spent over $500,000 to fund this conservative carpetbagger organization...I can only imagine if Democrats had done the same...the Dem Gaz would have had a month long exposé.
